I’ve been exploring the web
looking for other sites that might be added as links, to help you find more
content to help wake, enliven, and inspire you.
Here are three that I discovered tonight. I will also be adding them to the links page.
http://www.personaltransformation.com/transform.html
- Personal transformation stories on a website dedicated to mindfulness and
other resources for personal development.
A description from the site homepage:
This website is a
resource for personal and spiritual transformation. It’s here to support your
journey, whether you are looking for psychological healing or spiritual
awakening.
Our reading room is
a wonderful collection of inspiration from leading thinkers, healers and
teachers. Like the soft light of the morning sun, it will illuminate your
journey.
http://www.motivateus.com/ – Resources to
motivate and inspire, including an impressive collection of stories written by
site visitors. From the site:
Empower Yourself And Others – Live Your Life With
Motivation!
Motivating Moments strives to continually offer positive words of encouragement
to help give you the self-confidence and self-esteem you need to empower,
motivate and inspire yourself and others.
We invite you to explore all of our pages and learn from what others have
shared. Our insights will help you see that being positive and optimistic about
life can bring you abundance. Above all, know that nothing is impossible at
MotivateUs.com.
Be Inspired! Believe in Yourself – Believe in Others!
http://www.ijourney.org/index.php
- My favorite for the evening, the site lists itself as a project of
CharityFocus.org, the site contains inspirational readings, stories, thoughtful
posts from the perspective of service and giving. Tonight’s post, entitled One Legitimate Use
of Power, focuses on service as a key, and often missing, aspect of
leadership. From the site description:
About iJourney.org
iJourney.org
started when couple of folks got together to sit in silence, on Wednesdays in
the Silicon Valley. Today, it offers a weekly mailing of
inspired readings to 60,076 people.
Be sure to also check out the
page “Journeys,” which contains
… glimpses
into the lives of ordinary people leading exemplary lives. Each story is
written with the simple intent of moving the reader to take positive actions in
their own lives, in the community around them.
The site also contains links
to other related sites with additional good content.
Read and enjoy. Please add comments with what you think, and
don’t forget to submit ideas for additional links that you would suggest to our
readers. An easy link for submitting
suggestions by email can be found on the “Links” page.
